There are also many people who will want to find out more about you and will want to make sure you feel welcome in their city. This is the kind of experience that can really enrich your travels and restore your faith in people.

The hardest decision you will make with solo travel is to book a flight and pack a bag. Even that very first step of your solo trip is empowering. From there, the more you travel solo the more your confidence will grow.
While all of the organizing and hard work will fall on your shoulders, all of the pleasure that comes from a job well done when you have organized a life-changing trip will be yours to savor.

Love this post. I stumbled across your blog from Travelcon in Boston and I am truly inspired. I’m 21 and when I recently did a solo trip to Bali for a few days people thought I was nuts. To this day it was the best few days of my life. I felt as if the sky was my limit and I met some of the greatest people traveling alone that I wouldn’t have gotten to meet if I went with others. I just came back from my frst solo trip from NEW ZEALAND last week! Even though ive travelled around the world wth family n frnds…this solo trip has been the best ever trip of my life! Its actually a life changing experience..the freedom n peace u get on a solo trip is beyond comparison…..it did get lonely fr me a cpl of times in the evenings….only bcos i did not do proper research n felt a lil lost sometimes… …but overall its been an amazing experience….i cant wait to go on another solo trip asap…
