When I’m done with high school I’m traveling for a year around Europe by myself & this post made me very excited.

  2. I’m currently planning my very first solo trip! It may not end up solo — my cousin really wants to join me, and he’s been to Ireland before so I’d welcome the experienced travel buddy…

But I totally get the independence and not having to compromise aspects! When I first started thinking about Ireland, I didn’t imagine anyone would want to or be able to go with me, so I just figured I was being a big girl and doing it myself…

I think the only thing left that really makes me nervous is figuring out how to drive on the opposite side of the road — but the excitement of a bed and breakfast hopping tour of the Irish coast is winning the battle against the apprehension over driving on the Left!

Have you been to Ireland? What should I hit up??

    • Hi Laura! I actually haven’t been to Ireland, strange enough, so I can’t offer many recommendations. I’m so excited to hear that you’re taking your first solo trip though- I hope you have an amazing time! xx

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
