Wao.. What a detailed article on what to wear on an African safari. Great to hear you went to Masai mara’s Mahali Mzuri and Cottars Camp. You couldn’t do any better with those two. Such a great piece which I will simple be recommending to my female guests when they ask about the attire.

Love this post its full of great information! Quick question, I noticed you have the steam line luggage (so cute) where you able to use these for your Safari trip or did you end up changing to something different?

    • I brought the Steamline suitcase along with me to Gondwana Game Reserve when I was driving from Cape Town, however I wouldn’t recommend that suitcase when flying or on a larger trip. Some of the bush flights, like I mentioned in Kenya, have strict luggage restrictions, and I think a duffel/soft bag is the best choice 🙂

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
