  1. Latanya

Great tips!! Thanks for sharing. I look forward to using them in September on my trip to London.

  2. Hydrating is the thing for me. I always end up forgetting to drink water when I am flying. Also, you also have to deal with your ears that are in so much pain during the flight.

Try holding your nose and breathing out (the valsalva manoeuvre) to clear your ears. They should clear a lot more easily on the climb than on the descent too. Unless you have a cold you shouldn’t be in any pain!

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
