Leaving soon for 2 week trip to central Europe. Ready to purge 50% of what I have packed. Fingers crossed, wish me luck. Haha

This article is AWESOME! I always have a really hard time packing light (I’ll take a BIG suitcase for a one week trip) so I will definitely be implementing these ideas! Another thing I like to take with me, just to make flights more fun, are a homemade cheese plate and mini bottles of wine. You can take produce on an international flight as long as you toss it before entering the country. Safe travels, love your site!

    • I definitely had the same problem, so I hope this helps!
I also have a post on how to avoid overpacking that may come in handy 😉

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
