Thank you for theses tips! I love reading your blog. It inspires me to travel once I am done with college. I am trying to save up and go one day. Thank you for the tips!

  2. Very nice and good-looking list 🙂 One thing though, you do need to put the stuff you actually need during the flight in your personal item/tote/messenger bag, that you can put under the seat in front of you. It’s really annoying when your fellow passenger next to you gets up and makes excuses and roams around in the overhead compartment ever so often. Or you’ll be very annoying getting up and doing the same 😉

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
