I don’t know it you noticed small jewelry producers, so called filigrans along Croatian coast, mostly in coastal towns in Istria, i remeber them as a small boy when i was on vacation. Supposedly this art came from Byzathinian empire, i really don’t know if they still exist.

    • Yes! There are still lots of jewelry shops and stands around the coast. I got myself a ring, but no idea if it’s modeled after anything from the Byzantine Empire

Some (good) things never change. 🙂

  2. Never knew there was such thing as travel jewelry insurance … goes to show there are niches for everything these days!

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
