I’m planning a trip but feel so clueless.Ideally I want to fly into Athens visit an Island or two than take the ferry to Italy!Feeling so clueless how do I narrow down which islands I want to visit and how to organize transport from Athens to the Ferry? Any blog posts on this topic?

I was looking at Crete for a trip in June. I have never traveled internationally by myself and was wondering if you thought this was a good place to start? I’m turning 30 in July and wanted to do a solo trip to end my 20s.
    Love your website!

    • Hi Sara! I haven’t been to Crete unfortunately, but I think Greece overall would be a great solo travel destination for your first international trip! xx

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
