When it comes to carry-ons, it’s essential to have the right size bag. For travel within the United States, you can usually take a 22-inch tall carry-on bag. When you are outside of the United States, generally you will be restricted to a 21-inch carry-on.

2 checked bags for 3+ weeks? I’m going to be dong Europe for 5 months with just the Farpoint 70. Honestly how many backpackers are taking anymore than 1 bag and a daypack?
These luggage options are for all types of travelers, not just ones that would like to travel with a backpack. I wouldn’t consider myself a “backpacker” for all the trips I take, however when I am traveling light with just one bag, I use the Gregory 48 like I stated in the post.
