  1. Great list 🙂

“Being careless about your day bag” really is far more common than I ever realised. I constantly meet people on the road who have lost essentials at some point or another by putting a bag down somewhere, even for a second. So important to be extra careful out there! Because that can turn in to an emergency in itself, especially if your passport’s in there!

And yep, I can’t believe people who wont try the local cuisine. The group I was with in China refused to try the food. Total madness!

Definitely pays to be extra careful, and adventurous when it comes to food!! 🙂

  2. Great post! I definitely act too aggressive when people are friendly because I immediately assume the worst outcomes, such as scams or other forms of harassment! I need to pack more confidence and less anxious anger. I also love the tip about travel insurance. ALWAYS BUY IT, PEOPLE! You never know if you might get sick!

Thanks! And that’s for sure… travel insurance is always a definite 🙂

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
