Thanks for the tips! Thinking about getting the courage to book my first solo trip. Thinking about going to Puerto Rico!

    • Hi Courtney! Puerto Rico was definitely an adventure, although depending on the length of your trip, you can see a lot of what the island has to offer in just a few days.

Hi! I have so many questions to ask haha. I’ll start with the first three:
    1. How do you not gain weight while traveling? It is so hard to keep a decent diet a lot of the time.
    2. Who takes all of your pictures of you? Do you ask strangers or is it friends you have met?
    3. Lastly, how did you rent your motor bike in Sapa? I really wanted to do that while I was there but they said we’d have to give them our passport and we decided it wasn’t worth the risk of not getting that back.

Thanks so much for listening! Your blog is incredible and so so helpful.

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
