Hi Kiersten! Thank you for your wonderful post! I am going to Bali alone this December~ I would like to enjoy myself by the beach~ my friend also recommended me Ku De Ta, but is it all solo traveler have to stay room for 2? As I am still unable to find a single room at Ku De Ta~
Also is there any advice regarding the transportation?
    Thanks so much!! :))

    • Hey Shukin! Ku De Ta is a luxury hotel, so my guess is they don’t charge by single or double occupancy- just a flat rate per room per night!

As for transportation, you have lots of options! I recommend taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel / hostel / villa and then you can potentially walk, rent a motorbike, or take more taxis! I was able to hire a driver for a day for a flat rate to take me around to all the sites I wanted to see. You can read more about that here: https://goldcoastgirlsblog.com/2011/09/10/private-tour-of-ubud-then-on-to-seminyak/

  2. Just came back from Bali last week and we had a great time there. It was my first time in Indoneasia and it was amazing experience. The only thing I was a bit disappointed was the amount of rubbish all around. But you’re right, people were really nice and tried to help even with language barrier.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
