  1. Morocco honeymoon package

Great insights on travelling to Sahara desert. I have been looking to stay in camps during night there. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

    • You should totally do it! It’s one of my top travel experiences by far!

Hi Kiersten, this itinerary is so helpful! I’m planning to go to Morocco and am interested to know how you found your private driver to take you from Marrakech to the camp (and is he the same guide or does he stay until you’re ready to drive back?). May I ask how much it would roughly cost for a driver vs taking a flight or the bus? Any tips would be helpful!
    Thank you!!
    Jo

    • I hired my driver through Luxury Desert Camp for the 4 days of travel to and from. Any private driver will be expensive, but I wouldn’t recommend driving yourself. It’s kind of the only option if you’re planning to do the desert. You need a 4×4 to get through the dunes. Also, it’s a big drive (10+ hours without stops) from Marrakech to the Sahara and back. I recommend adding 1 night stop to and from the desert. You can email them for a quote.

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
