  1. I have ALWAYS wanted to travel to Germany and you just make it feel so much more possible!! My Dad and his entire side of the family is full German. Thanks for all of the tips 🙂

Ohmygosh you should definitely get over to Germany and connect with your roots!

  2. Great post! As a German myself I can say these are very good tips and it’s even helpful for me to be reminded from time to time.
Also, the south of Germany tends to be more expensive (Munich, the Black Forest, Heidelberg), and you usually find the less expensive eats in the city center around Universities 🙂

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
