  1. Such a useful post – I was always under the impression that Bali was quite expensive to visit but I suppose that’s just relative to its neighbours! I’d definitely be more keen to visit now – love the sound of the warungs!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your blog! So informative and the pictures are amazing..making me so much more excited to get there!!! I’m actually currently planning a trip to Bali with a friend of mine. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for villas or places to stay? You mentioned that they could be about $11 USD however I’m only finding villas for about $400-$700 USD a night – eesh!

    • Hey Brittany! I’ve seen some low rates for private rooms and villas on Airbnb, have you checked those properties out? I hope you have an amazing trip! xx

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
