Hi Kiersten! I would love your help. I am traveling solo and am starting out by doing a tour from London, Paris, Interlaken, Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice, Ljubljana, Budapest, Vienna, Krakow, Prague, Berlin.
I was then going to do Croatia (Zagreb, Plitvice, Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik) to Montenegro (Kotor & Budva) and then back to Dubrovnik and from there go to Munich for Oktoberfest then to Salzburg, Geneva, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen to end (in October).
I would be in Croatia around September 15th-to the beginning of October. I would like to party + travel. I really wanted to go to the Carpe Diem beach club because I was told me all about it. I emailed Carpe Diem and they said the last night they are open is September 14th with their day bar closing a week or two later.
    1) Is there a lot things closed in Croatia mid-September and is there a better month to go? (May-June maybe)
    2) If I don’t do Croatia and hold off, does anyone have any suggestions on where I could go? I was thinking of doing Spain and Portugal if I end up saving Croatia for another time.

Hi Ciara, oh that’s such a bummer to hear, but it might be better to venture there in more of the summer months when things are really popping. Both Spain and Portugal are truly incredible and I can’t say I have a preference over which one—so many cool places to visit and delicious foods to try. I would suggest joining the FB Travel Tribe and asking the ladies in there if they have any more insight + they might help you with planning! https://www.facebook.com/groups/947813952040668/

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
