I was wondering how you traveled around the city. Is everything in walking distance or by metro?

    • Hi there Amanda!

I recently started a travel forum on my website so that you can get advice from, not only me, but the entire travel community.

You may find the answer to your questions there. If not, you can direct your questions to the “Destination Specific Travel Questions” forum where you can find a thread on “Greece Travel” found here: https://goldcoastgirlsblog.com/faq-travel-community-forum/

Thanks and looking forward to answering your questions on the forum!

Thank you so much for providing this information, especially the Athen’s Backpackers guide. My husband and I showed up about 10 minutes after 10 AM (after some confusion with the tram system) and fortunately George and the group had not left yet. It was the best 6 euro I spent and the tour was great and also a lot of fun! We have three more full days in Athens and I’m looking forward to it even more with the knowledge and advice George gave.

    • Yay! That’s so great to hear! Glad to know George is still giving the tours 🙂

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
