Hi! Thanks for doing this blog. It’s super helpful! Has given me a bunch of ideas. I know you did Vietnam in two weeks but I only have one to do it. I was thinking the following. Do you think Sapa should replace any of these? I think I am going to wait to book hotels and just play by ear when I get there. Also, where do I fly in and out of since I plan to span the country? Thanks very much for your input!!

    Hue (1 night)
Hai Van Pass (Hue to Hoi An), 2 nights in Hoi An
    Go North
Hanoi, Ha Long Bay (floating villages?)

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
