Hi Kiersten, thanks for sharing your experiences; it’s amazing! I’m about to go on a 2 week solo trip to Vietnam and have been reading about the country. I read everywhere that Sapa is great; but I also read it’s full of tourists and that Mai Chau is an equally beautiful tribal village but less busy – do you know anything about it? Any recommendation regarding Mai Chau?

    • I visited Sapa a few years ago now, and it wasn’t touristy when I visited however, I can understand if it tourism has increased as it’s absolutely beautiful! I can’t recommend anything specifically in Mai Chau unfortunately 🙁 But I would still suggest visiting Sapa!

Thanks Kiersten. I’ll probably go to Sapa then. I have looked up previous comments and found Hong’s phone number on one of your forums. Do you happen to have her email address as well? Should I email you at [email protected]?

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
