hi..great info and thanks for the helpful tips. one question: where do you recommend one stays for the second night? area recommendation? thanks.

    • Thanks! Depending on how long you’re taking in each stop, I would stay the night in San Luis Obispo and plan to drive Big Sur in the day time. Or stay in Big Sur as they do have a few lodges along the coast (they are a bit more expensive). lastly, you can drive straight through Big Sur in a day and stay the night in Carmel/Monterey area. Enjoy! xx

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
