  1. Talia

    Hi Kiersten,
Thanks for posting this. Reading your posts and slowly building my Courage to go at it solo has really inspired me travel. These pointers are super helpful and very basic. Easy-peasy right?
Now, the number one question…how and/or who takes your prictures if you’re traveling solo?

    Many Thanks

    • Hi Talia- thank you! I use a GoPro and selfie stick for a lot of my photos, but my camera also works on remote so I can shoot photos of myself when no one else is around to lend a hand 🙂

  2. I traveled solo once for two weeks, but I’ll be heading to Australia for a year by myself, hopefully it’ll all be nice & lovely!

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
